We love this place.  It's convenient and easy to get to.  The food is amazing.  The coffee is super strong.  Their wait time is ridiculously long.

They have corn hole game street-side along with a picnic table and chairs.

    Meh.

Went for brunch a few weeks ago with some visiting friends and we enjoyed ourselves...but meh.

Cool spot, fun vibe, good service even while being busy, but meh.

I think Waffle House would have satisfied me more tbh.

I think they finally have a good groove going. I've been a couple of times recently for brunch and lunch, both with good experiences. The BELT (with avocado) is still one of my favorite things ever. The cactus pork tacos are also a really good choice. The sweet potato chips are a nice addition as a side and aren't overpowered with salt, cinnamon/sugar, etc. They're basic and perfect. The pigs in a blanket is still a favorite for brunch and will probably always be my recommendation to people whent hey ask for suggestions.

The service has gotten SO much better. The owner/manager still helps out a lot and is really awesome. She saw us sharing pictures of our dogs at the table and whipped out her phone to share, too. We loved it! Felt like she was one of our friends. The kitchen wasn't as slow as in the past, which was super awesome. The lunch crowd was large in the restaurant but we didn't have to wait long to get seated or for our food to come out.

Def suggest checking this place out. So happy to live close by.

Walked in and the hostess acted like we didn't exist . After 10 minutes we decided to take a seat at the bar. The "bartender" and her helper seemed over whelmed so it took a while to get drinks and to order. The restaurant didn't have any flow today. We had to get up and go back to the door to read the specials. Everyone was nice but just overwhelmed. The girl
Making drinks was making drinks for the entire restaurant down to
    Waters and chocolate milk.
They didn't have a drink station for the servers. She  was unable to take food orders. The girl taking food orders had to walk around the bar to put everything in and she just seemed behind but she was very kind and sweet.
The saving grace was the food! It was delicious. I had the shrimp and grits and it was one of
The best I've had in Charleston. My friend had the pork belly special and it was good as well. Im going to have to think about giving this place a second chance and I definitely won't bring a visitor with me .

I like it. Basic fare done right on the menu and a full bar will get you a long way in my book. Add in some friendly service and a good space and I'll be sure to keep coming back. The Junction does all of this.
I only knock them one star because the place needs a good deep clean. Wasn't dirty so much as just a bit too much dinge that made it all too noticeable.
